# Instant risk tier register

The Instant Framework (theinstantframework.com) by Falcra (falcratechnologies.com)

A spreadsheet for recording the risk tier of every part of an application: Critical, Important or Standard, with the reason, who decided and when. In Instant, the tier decides how much human review each part gets and how tight its non-functional targets are, so this register is what lets review keep pace with AI-written code without treating every screen like a payment calculation.

## What's in the download

- `instant-risk-tier-register.xlsx`, with four tabs:
  - **How to use:** who does what, and the tier definitions.
  - **Register:** one row per part of the application. Drop-down lists for type, tier, reason and status; the human review each tier gets is filled in automatically.
  - **Change log:** every tier change, so the original decision stays visible.
  - **Summary:** counts by tier, and how many rows are still only proposed (zero before sign-off G2).
- `README.md`: this file.

## How it's used in Instant

1. In Specify, the AI build tool proposes the parts of the application and a suggested tier and reason for each. The Conductor enters them.
2. Your experts and business owner confirm or change each tier in the room; the Challenger tests the reasons. Nobody needs to know the method beforehand: the proposals arrive ready to decide.
3. At sign-off G2 (Ready to build), no row may still be "Proposed".
4. When scope changes, rows are added or re-tiered, and every change goes on the change log.
5. The register goes into the evidence pack at sign-off G4.

It works with any application, with or without the rest of Instant.
